The use of paints, felt-tip pens, pastels, crayons work best. Collages come out very well, however, please ensure everything is stuck on as cannot guess where all the missing eyes must go!

Some items do NOT work, thee include glitter, silver and gold pens, but other metallic colours work well on black backgrounds.

Fill the drawing area with colour and designs, but be aware that during the printing process the edges of the drawing will be trimmed and therefore please do not put any important detail close to the edges. But, we have seen some teachers draw in a pencilled border for the children to draw in – this does NOT work! We will reproduce the pencilled border as well!
